🐾 Why Trim Your Cat’s Claws?
✔ Prevents Overgrowth & Pain – Long claws can curl into paw pads, causing discomfort.
✔ Protects You & Your Furniture – Sharp claws mean accidental scratches and shredded sofas!
✔ Helps Senior Cats – Older cats may have trouble retracting their claws, leading to mobility issues.

🚫 When Not to Trim
❌ If your cat regularly uses a scratching post to naturally wear down their claws.
❌ If trimming causes excessive stress—some cats simply hate it!
How to Trim Claws Safely
🐱 Use cat-specific clippers (never human nail clippers!).
🐱 Gently press the paw pad to extend the claw.
🐱 Clip only the sharp tip, avoiding the pink "quick" (which contains nerves & blood vessels).
🐱 Reward with treats & praise to create a positive experience.

Not a fan of trimming? Consider alternatives like scratching posts, cardboard scratchers, or soft claw caps!
